I haven't managed to move my writing forward for a few weeks. I tell myself if because i am so very busy for now and will get back to it soon.
So why have I been to busy to meet a self imposed target of 2 hours four days a week as a minimum?
- I have a job that I struggling to learn and taking home study, leaving me stressed and mentally exhausted.
- A need to read and study to lift my writing skills so I feel better about what I am writing.
- Having to job search as I am underemployed according to the welfares departments criteria.
- Learning to use a Apple Mac which I purchased used to use as a writing platform only.
- lack of time management skill
So now I believe the reason for not writing for me now are really minor excuses.
- Stress and lack of focus
- Lack of time management
- Lack self determination
- The need to learn the new job is leaving me mentally worn
- Keep chasing other jobs is leaving me mentally worn
If I was working full time that problem would on;ly have lasted a couple of weeks. However the job is a couple off half days a week some weeks, That allows me to forget part of what I learn every time.
My time management skills are adversely affected by outside factors
Self determination is adversely affected by outside factors
The need to learn the job is a constant for now
I have had the looking for jobs removed from my employment criteria having convinced them the job I have meets the criteria.
The circle is broken.
Now I can concentrate on a time effective plan. Mostly I must do what I must when I decide to do so.
Can it really be that simple?
